2017\u5e7412\u6708\uff0c\u963f\u5c14\u4f2f\u7279\u7701\u7684Joshua James Tenhove\u88ab\u5224\u91d1\u878d\u8bc8\u9a97\uff0c\u4ed6\u5236\u9020\u4e86\u4e00\u4e2a\u4e00\u5343\u4e07\u7684\u5e9e\u6c0f\u9a97\u5c40\uff0c\u6b3a\u9a97\u4e86\u52a0\u62ff\u5927\u548c\u7f8e\u56fd\u6d88\u8d39\u8005\u3002Tenhove\u6848\u548c\u9f9a\u6653\u534e\u6848\u76f8\u4f3c\u3002\u4f46\u5a92\u4f53\u4ece\u6765\u6ca1\u6709\u62a5\u9053Tenhove\u662f\u54ea\u4e2a\u65cf\u88d4\u7684\u52a0\u62ff\u5927\u516c\u6c11\uff0c\u4e5f\u4e0d\u5e94\u8be5\u62a5\u9053\uff0c\u56e0\u4e3aTenhove\u662f\u54ea\u4e2a\u65cf\u88d4\u548c\u4ed6\u7684\u9a97\u5c40\u662f\u5426\u6784\u6210\u91d1\u878d\u8bc8\u9a97\u6ca1\u6709\u5173\u7cfb\u3002\u300a\u73af\u7403\u90ae\u62a5\u300b\u8bc4\u8bba\u6587\u7ae0\u8d1f\u9762\u8bc4\u8bba\u65f6\u6307\u660e\u9f9a\u6653\u534e\u662f\u534e\u88d4\uff0c\u662f\u5bf9\u534e\u88d4\u7684\u79cd\u65cf\u6b67\u89c6\u3002<\/p>\n

2017\u5e746\u67083\u65e5\uff0cRehab Dughmosh\u5728\u4e00\u5bb6\u5546\u5e97\u4e2d\u7528\u9ad8\u5c14\u592b\u7403\u6746\u88ad\u51fb\u987e\u5ba2\uff0c\u6b64\u4e8b\u88ab\u5b9a\u6027\u4e3a\u6050\u6016\u88ad\u51fb\u3002\u6ca1\u6709\u5a92\u4f53\u62a5\u9053\u548c\u8bc4\u8bba\u7528\u7a46\u65af\u6797\u5987\u5973\u7684\u5b57\u773c\u6765\u63cf\u8ff0Dughmosh\u3002\u52a0\u62ff\u5927\u901a\u8fc7\u4e86103\u52a8\u8bae\u7981\u6b62\u4efb\u4f55\u6050\u6016\u88ad\u51fb\u7684\u62a5\u9053\u548c\u4f0a\u65af\u5170\u6559\u76f8\u8054\u7cfb\u3002\u5728\u901a\u8fc7103\u52a8\u8bae\u7684\u8fa9\u8bba\u4e2d\uff0c\u5f88\u591a\u8bae\u5458\u79f0103\u52a8\u8bae\u5e76\u975e\u4e13\u95e8\u9488\u5bf9\u6b67\u89c6\u7a46\u65af\u6797\uff0c\u800c\u662f\u666e\u904d\u53cd\u5bf9\u6b67\u89c6\u5c11\u6570\u65cf\u88d4\u3002\u65e2\u7136\u662f\u666e\u904d\u53cd\u5bf9\u6b67\u89c6\u5c11\u6570\u65cf\u88d4\uff0c\u65e2\u7136\u8bc4\u8bba\u6050\u6016\u88ad\u51fb\u7684\u65f6\u5019\u907f\u514d\u63d0\u53ca\u7a46\u65af\u6797\uff0c\u4e3a\u4f55\u300a\u73af\u7403\u90ae\u62a5\u300b\u5728\u8d1f\u9762\u8bc4\u8bba\u9f9a\u6653\u534e\u7684\u65f6\u5019\u8981\u7279\u610f\u7528\u52a0\u62ff\u5927\u534e\u88d4\u8fd9\u6837\u7684\u5b57\u773c\uff1f\u300a\u73af\u7403\u90ae\u62a5\u300b\u8fd9\u6837\u7684\u8bc4\u8bba\u662f\u5728\u5236\u9020\u4e00\u4e2a\u6b67\u89c6\u534e\u88d4\u7684\u52a0\u62ff\u5927\u793e\u4f1a\uff0c\u8fdd\u53cd\u4e86\u8054\u90a6103\u52a8\u8bae\u3002<\/p>\n

Global and Mail Is Racist<\/strong><\/span>

The Global and Mail published a commentary by Robert Fife and Steven Chase on January 5, 2018, titled \u201cLiberal MP Geng Tan acted as intermediary for businessman now accused of fraud\u201d.<\/p>\n

The first paragraph of the commentary lays out the facts, and that\u2019s professional. But the second paragraph being with a sentence of \u201cChinese-Canadian businessman Xiao Hua Gong, also known as Edward Gong, was arrested in Toronto last week and the Ontario Securities Commission (OSC) has charged him with fraud over $5,000, possession of property obtained by crime, laundering proceeds of crime and uttering a forged document\u201d. The Global and Mail is racist by specifically spell out Chinese_Canadian. Is Tan wrong because Gong is a Chinese-Canadian? Or is Tan has not fault should Gong is a French-Canadian? Chinese-Canadian in this commentary provides no relevant information besides the racist connotation.<\/p>\n

On December 2017, an Alberta man Joshua James Tenhove was charged with a $10-million Ponzi scheme of victims in Canada and the United States. Nobody knows the ethnic profile of Tenhove, and shouldn\u2019t. No media reporting the Tenhove case by saying XXX-Canadian Tenhove because the racial background of Tenhove will not change the verdict of the Ponzi scheme. But why the Global and Mail named Gong Chinese-Canadian? The Global and Mail is racist by doing so.<\/p>\n

On January 29, 2017, Alexandre Bissonnette killed six men by shooting at a Quebec City mosque. No report or commentary ever used the label of French-Canadian Alexandre Bissonnette, and shouldn\u2019t. But why the Global and Mail use Chinese-Canadian in the Gong case? The Global and Mail is racist by doing so.<\/p>\n

On June 3, 2017, Rehab Dughmosh attacked several people with a golf club at a Canadian Tire store. The incident was classified as a terrorist attack. No media or commentary had named Dughmosh a Muslin woman, and they shouldn\u2019t. We have M-103 to avoid linking any terrorist attack to Islam religion. When MPs arguing to pass M-103, many argued that M-103 is intended to be general to against discrimination towards minorities. The Global and Mail is discriminating against Chinese-Canadian and violating M-103.<\/p>\n

The Global and Mail should make a correction in the commentary and should apology to Chinese-Canadian community for the racist commentary.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
